Newcastle offers a complete cricket pathway for girls, from U10 through to Open Womens in the Newcastle District Cricket Association (NDCA) Women's compettion. 

The NJCA has well established Stage 1 (U11) and Stage 2 (U13) All Girls competitions, and is developing a Stage 3 (U14-18) competition. 

Along with the All Girls competitions, girls also play in the mixed competitions with and/or against boys. Girls can play 2 years down in the mixed competition.
